Kick-off for UV protection

SC Oberweikertshofen is at the forefront when it comes to football – and also when it comes to UV protection. Footballers young and old play football in the shade of an open-air hall in summer.

Football training in the blazing sun? This is no longer an issue for the SC Oberweikertshofen kickers: an open-air hall provides the team with shade and thus improves UV protection during sport.

Success with UV protection

The fact that football can be trained in a UV-safe way is new to many: In Egenhofen, in the north of the Upper Bavaria administrative district west of Munich, SC Oberweikertshofen has built an open-air hall for its young footballers.

It makes it possible to train protected from the sun and minimize the risks of UV radiation. An exciting concept that has already made other clubs curious.
