On various social networks, the BfS provides information about current developments in radiation protection, research results, and basic principles as well as events and news of the BfS and the BfS management. The social media team consists of staff from the Public Relations Unit.

We look forward to a lively and engaging dialogue in which many users participate with comments and posts. However, we ask that you observe the following rules:

  • A constructive dialogue is based on mutual respect. Please treat other users as you would like to be treated. Insults, abuse, defamation, slander, and the like have no place here. We reserve the right to delete such posts.

We assume no responsibility for the posts of other users. All users are responsible for their posts.

By leaving a post, the authors give BfS the right to make the post permanently available on the respective social media channel and to quote it if necessary.

Contests

The following apply to participation in contests on the BfS social media channels

Conditions for participation:

  1. Participation in the contest is open to all users of the relevant network who reside in Germany
  2. Employees of the BfS are excluded
  3. Also excluded are accounts that do not belong to individuals but rather to institutions
  4. No new (or fake) accounts may be created for the purpose of participation.

Framework conditions:

  1. The duration of the contests is three days
  2. The winners will be drawn at random from all retweets and comments.
  3. We will contact the winners by direct message and request the address for sending the prize.
  4. All data collected will be deleted after the end of the contest
