Our leadership principles

The BfS developed leadership principles as a result of the Guiding Principle process. BfS employees can demand that their direct superior complies with these principles.
The managers have a special responsibility for the work organization and the employee support in their organizational units. For this reason the BfS provides in addition to these leadership principles other guidelines and directives that help managers in handling particular situations (e.g. directives for cooperation talks, guidelines for the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, etc.). Furthermore we have established executive feedback and coaching to support our manager.
