Jobs at the BfS

The variety of tasks performed at the BfS ranges from X-ray diagnostics in medicine, safety in handling radioactive substances in nuclear technology, the disposal of radioactive waste, via the protection against increased natural radioactivity to the protection against ultraviolet radiation and the effects of mobile communication.

Training at BfS

At the Federal Office for Radiation Protection, training places are provided for traditional administrative, technical and laboratory occupations. As part of their training, trainees pass through different administrative areas and specialist departments.
