Research on radon in urban areas

Study: radon in urban areas

A current study provides the opportunity for up to 1,000 households in Bonn to have the radon in their homes measured free of charge. In the study, the BfS is using the city of Bonn as an example in order to investigate how the radon potential in densely populated urban areas should be assessed. To this end, the expert office Sachverständigenbüro Dr. Kemski is tasked with determining how much radon is present in both soil air and indoor air.
