Survey of how the German population deals with radon as a basis for risk communication and reinforcement of protective behaviour

As part of the radiation protection research programme of the Federal Environment Ministry, Gesellschaft für Innovative Marktforschung GmbH (GIM) has investigated how the general public deals with radon in order to develop suitable measures for raising awareness. The study received technical support from the BfS, and the final report is now available.

Effect of government support measures on the implementation of radon remediation measures

As part of the departmental research of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, the Institute for Futures Studies and Technology Assessment gGmbH (IZT) investigated whether state subsidy programmes for flat owners are an incentive for radon remediation. The BfS provided technical support. The final report is now available.
