Evaluation of breast cancer mortality in the German mammography screening program

The Institute for Epidemiology and Social Medicine at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster is evaluating breast cancer mortality in the German mammography screening program as part of the Radiation Protection research program of the Federal Ministry for the Environment. The study is technically supported by the BfS.

Experimental setup for determining dose efficiency

Dose efficiency of CT systems: an automated procedure for evaluating dose and image quality

The research project in collaboration with the Federal Institute of Physics and Metrology (PTB) is intended to develop a standardised process for assessing the dose efficiency of CT systems. In the future, it will ideally be possible to use this technique in type testing.
