5. Epidemiological study on the association between exposure to magnetic fields and an increased risk of miscarriage
With this epidemiological study, a possible association between exposure to low-frequency magnetic fields and a risk of miscarriage is to be examined. The prerequisite for the project is the existence of cohort with data on domestic and/or occupational exposure to magnetic fields. The planned procedure and possible cohorts were discussed with the experts present at the expert workshop regarding epidemiological studies in the context of power grid expansion held on 25 January 2021. The proposed cohorts are currently being contacted to check the availability of the necessary data.
