Incorporation Monitoring
When handling open radioactive substances it may occure that radionuclides are incorporated into the body, e.g. by inhalation, ingestion, through the skin or through an open wound. This leads to internal radiation exposure. It is the task of incorporation monitoring to assess the internal doses retrospectively.

Empfehlungen zur Richtlinie
|

|
Die am 1. März 2007 in Kraft getretenene Richtlinie zur Inkorporationsüberwachung (Riphyko) gilt für die verschiedenen Anwendungsgebiete (Medizin, Kerntechnik, Industrie usw.) und ist daher naturgemäß in vielen Punkten nur sehr allgemein gehalten. Es ist das Ziel der vorliegenden Empfehlung, die Genehmigungs- und Aufsichtsbehörden bei der Anwendung der Riphyko zu unterstützen.
