Courses regulated in the Radiation Protection Ordinance (StrlSchV) and the X-Ray Ordinance (RöV)

All requirements are regulated, in general, in the Radiation Protection Ordinance ("Strahlenschutzverordnung", StrlSchV), the X-Ray Ordinance ("Röntgenverordnung", RöV) and, at the detailed level, in a number of regulatory guidelines relating to different types of practices and professional groups. These guidelines include learning objectives, the content of training courses and periods of practical experience as well as the examinations, certification and recognition of the radiation protection qualification by the competent authorities.
