On December 7, 2006 the Environment and Consumer Protection Committee at the Bavarian Parliament held a hearing on the topic “Impact of mobile telephone services on the population’s well-being”. The Federal Office for Radiation Protection presented its positions on questions raised by the parliamentarians. The topics included “the German Mobile Telecommunication Research Programme”, “Research on mobile telephone services”, “Mobile communication transmitters”, “SAR values”, “Cordless telephones”, “Wireless LAN systems”, “Acceptance of mobile telephone services”, “Summation effect”, “Limit values”, “Measuring methods” and “Human well-being”.
