The emphasis of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) 2002 to 2006 was on high-quality research measures in the scope of which science and research in Europe can be focussed and integrated. Furthermore, trans-national cooperation was to be optimised.The research projects and training measures of the sixth framework programme in the field of EURATOM are described in the following three volumes of the European Commission.
